From July 21, 2005, Icelandic nationals, who wish to travel to Thailand for tourism purpose, are eligible for a 30-day stay in Thailand without a visa. Upon the entry, however, each person must submit at Immigration Check Point upon entry a valid passport of at least six month validity with empty visa pages, together with proof of confirmed air tickets showing 30 days or less of stay in Thailand, as well as proof of carrying at least $200 per person or $400 per family.
